Vivo today launched their latest smartphone in the Y-series The Vivo Y400 Pro 5G. The smarthphone launched at an attractive price of INR 24,999. The Y400 Pro offers a premium flagship-like features, including the Segment’s Slimmest 3D Curved Display Smartphone, 90W Flash Charge, and a Sony Multifocal Portrait, 4K video recording capabilities on both front and rear camera.
The Vivo Y400 Pro 5G comes with multiple premium color options like Freestyle White, Nebula Purple and Fest Gold. The Y400 Pro will be available across Indian E-commerce sites like Flipkart and Amazon. Starting from June 27, 2025, 12:00 noon onwards.
Design & Display
The Y400 Pro 5G comes with a sleek, curved-edge design with a 17.20cm (6.78-inch) FHD + AMOLED display, delivering vibrant visuals at a 120Hz refresh rate and 4500 nits of peak brightness. Vivo calls it Segment’s Slimmest 3D Curved Display. Making streaming a smooth experience, the Vivo Y400 Pro supports 4K HDR support for YouTube and Netflix.
Camera
The Vivo Y400 Pro 5G equipped with a 50 MP Sony IMX882 main camera capable of capturing great details with quality. It can capture portraits in 1x, 1.5x, and 2x. Accompanied by a 2 MP Bokeh Camera.
On the front The Y400 Pro is equipped with a 32 MP camera allowing users to click the decent selfies. The Vivo Y400 Pro also provides 4K Video Recording support on both front and rear. With inbuilt AI features like AI Erase 2.0 and AI Photo Enhance further enhance the overall camera experience.
Battery
The Y400 Pro comes with a good battery size of 5500 mAH and the smartphone comes with 90W FlashCharge support which is a great thing.
AI Features
The Y400 Pro also comes with smart AI integration that includes tools like AI transcript Assist, AI Superlink, AI Note Assist, Circle to Search, and AI Live Text.
Hardware & Performance
The Vivo Y400 Pro 5G comes with MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage space which will provide users smooth multitasking. The processor is built on an energy-efficient 4nm architecture ensuring consistent performance and better thermal control. Y400 Pro also comes with dual stereo speakers setup.
In terms of durability the device offers an IP65 Rating for dust and splash resistance.
