New Honda City Sport Edition Launched – Price & Feature

Honda Cars India has officially launched the new Honda City Sport, a new edition variant of its popular mid-size sedan. Priced at ₹14.89 lakh (ex-showroom), the City Sport is based on the mid-spec V variant and aims to attract younger buyers with its aggressive styling and premium interior upgrades.

The new City Sport distinguishes itself with a new blacked-out exterior elements. These include a gloss black front grille, rear spoiler for aerodynamic flair, black fog lamp housings. The 15-inch grey alloy wheels and a “Sport” badge on the tailgate further enhancing its sporty character. Glossy black shark-fin antenna and black ORVMs with integrated indicators Grey multi-spoke alloy wheels.

The City Sport will be available in three striking colors Radiant Red Metallic, Platinum White Pearl and Meteoroid Grey Metallic.

Inside the cabin The City Sport adopts an all-black theme with red contrast stitching across the dashboard, seats, and door pads glossy black AC vents, soft-touch door inserts. The dashboard features a red metallic accent and ambient lighting, while the leatherette seats and steering wheel enhance the premium feel. The rear seat includes a foldable center armrest with cup holders, adding to passenger comfort.

Features & Safety

The Honda City Sport retains the feature set of the V variant, including:

  • 8-inch touchscreen infotainment with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
  • Push-button start/stop
  • Cruise control
  • Auto AC
  • 4-speaker sound system

Safety is robust, with 6 airbags, a rear parking camera with sensors, hill start assist, TPMS, and Honda’s Level-2 ADAS.

Powertrain

Under the hood the Honda City Sport houses a 1.5L petrol engine paired with a 7-speed CVT automatic transmission delivering a refined 121 PS of power maintaining smooth rides and efficient city performance.

Rivals

Positioned just above the standard V variant the City Sport competes with the Hyundai Verna SX and Skoda Slavia mid-trims offering buyers a more youthful option in the crowded sedan space.

Thinking of buying the Honda City Sport? The Honda City Sport is priced at Rs 14.89 lakh while the V variant it’s based on is priced at Rs 14.40 lakh. The Sport version carries a premium of Rs 49,000.
